Grupo Coral Tonalli

The Tonalli Choir Group was founded with the intention of creating a space for vocal and choral exploration in Ingeniero Maschwitz. Its mission is social work through community singing.

The name Tonalli (Nahuatl) refers to solar heat, the symbol of light and day. It is a force that gives vigor, warmth, and courage.

Its repertoire is broad and focuses on the study of choral works from around the world, thus providing the opportunity to delve into different cultures. It has performed works from the following countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba, Aruba, the United States, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Georgia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Japan, among others.

The Tonalli Choir Group performs regularly at choral festivals and cultural events.
